I honestly order takeout from here atleast 3-4 times per week. I always get the chicken gyro with a side of their garlic sauce and it never fails to hit the spot. The perfect amount of food to leave you satiated but not lethargic. Always for a great price as well!

Decided to try something new in Melbourne today that wasn’t too expensive. Stopped at Al Baik Kabob House for some gyros and baklava (pistachio). Its a small restaurant in a shopping center. It doesn’t look like much but in my opinion sometimes these are the best places to eat at. We are greeted kindly by two persons. The menu is on a screen next to the counter. Decently priced, they have baklava made by their mom. Delicious I might add Definitely worth checking out. Again, nothing fancy, small but home made feel.

They have a lot of menu options and the prices are reasonable for the serving size. It's authentic, they cook this at home and it shows. Everything was perfect. The hummus wasn't my personal favorite but it was very fresh. The pita was soft. All the vegetables and the salad were fresh. Quality ingredients and quality food. They have some unique bottled drink options which were cool. The seating area isn't aesthetically pleasing and the bathroom is strange but takeout is well worth it.

Husband got the lamb gyro platter and I ordered the chicken gyro platter. We also shared Tabbouleh and a square slice of pistachio baklava (total about 40). The Tabbouleh salad was SO refreshing and the nuttiness of the pistachio combined with the sweetness of honey for the baklava was HEAVENLY. The spice/herbs for both the lamb and chicken gyro meats were balanced. They have single bathroom. Don't let the casual interior deter you from this delicious and gut satisfying food!!

Since I left Brooklyn 2 years ago, I've been desperately trying to find a place with chicken over rice. I marked this place as somewhere to try. They did not disappoint. The owner, Saba, is so nice. If you're confused about anything, she will gladly explain. The food was SO good. Reminded me back when I used to eat halal food back in Manhattan. I tried the chicken platter, and it did not disappoint. I will 100% be going back to try out other options on the menu as well. Saba also does special requests if you call a few days in advance.

We have been to Athens and several Greek restaurants here in the US and Canada. This was the best Gyro I've ever had, my wife got a Greek salad and raved about the flavor and size! They are geared more to take out but there are several tables and outside tables too!

We came for lunch. We came back for dinner. At this point, we might as well set up a tent outside. The chicken gyro platter? Delicious. The lamb gyro platter? Also delicious. The lamb gyro itself? You guessed it—delicious. Even the kids loved it, and they usually act like eating is a chore. The fries were perfectly seasoned, the hummus was smooth and creamy, and the service was quick and friendly. Plenty of parking too, so no need for a parallel parking meltdown. And then there was the baklava. Nearly 5 for a tiny piece? My wallet winced, but my taste buds rejoiced. Buttery, crispy, sweet—so packed with flavor, I think I briefly saw into the future. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back... probably tomorrow.
